Dental Hygiene Program

Services Provided

Valencia’s Dental Hygiene Program operates a fully functional clinic where students provide preventive dental hygiene services to the general public. Services include:

  • Dental cleaning (prophylaxis) – $20.00
  • X-rays – additional $20.00
  • Fluoride application
  • Sealants

Please note: We do not perform extractions or restorative dental work.

Appointments

Appointments typically last 1½ to 2½ hours. Some patients may need to return for multiple visits to complete their treatment.

The cost for a standard dental cleaning is $20.00. Walk-in patients are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis during clinic hours if there are cancellations or openings available.

Valencia College is a learning institution; we are not a dental provider. Therefore, we cannot guarantee appointments. However, we do our best to schedule as many patients as possible during the times our clinic is open.

The dental hygiene program is fully accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation.
