Career Anniversary
Careers at Valencia College are about so much more than years served. Career anniversaries are about the individual employee — the unique attributes, special connections and the many ways each employee contributes to student success. So, when Valencia employees have a career anniversary, we celebrate and recognize them.
What are the career anniversary milestones?
Below is a list of the awards that employees will receive at the different milestone levels.
Part-Time Recognition Gifts
Part-time employees with one year of service will receive an electronic certificate. Part-time employees with five and 10 years of service will receive a personalized acrylic certificate and frame. Part-time employees with 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service will receive an acrylic numeral.
Full-time Recognition Gifts
Full-time employees with one year of service will receive a personalized acrylic certificate and frame. Full-time employees with five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service will receive an acrylic numeral.

The set contains anniversary videos from Year 1 to Year 45 and each video contains a unique greeting, according to its respective milestone.

Check out these custom animated Zoom backgrounds to celebrate faculty and staff during virtual meetings and team celebrations.
Certificates
Celebrate your employee's special day in a timely and meaningful way with a personalized certificate. Sending an electronic copy of the certificate to your employee will also allow them to share their milestone with their friends and family on social media.
Badges
Recognize your colleagues by giving a badge and sharing your thoughts in a short post. It’s simple to share your appreciation and reward a job well done. Full-time and Part-time Retirees' Gift
Retirees will receive a commemorative retirement box before they leave the College. This box symbolizes meaningful appreciation and serves as a token of gratitude for the many contributions the employee has made to Valencia. Colleagues and friends will have an opportunity to think about the many fond memories, personal connections and significant contributions that the employee has made over the years and write their favorite stories and sentiments on a small card to be placed inside the box.
