Parking and Transportation

Get around downtown quickly and conveniently.

Located in the heart of the City Beautiful, Downtown Campus places you in the center of it all—minutes from food and entertainment to shopping and parks. Plus, with public transportation right around the corner, including LYNX and SunRail, you’ll be able to experience even more.

A valid parking decal is required at all times on campus property, including downtown. If you park off campus, but within city limits, you are required to pay for metered spaces. Please note that while street parking—including metered spaces and surface lots—may be available, you will still be responsible for the parking rates even if you have a Downtown Campus parking decal.

Parking

Parking at Downtown Campus requires a valid permit at all times. There is a fee for parking decals, which are sold by UCF Parking and Transportation Services. The decal gives you access to up to three garages (PLEASE NOTE: UW parking is only for UW residents) with approximately 2,000 parking spaces in and around Downtown Campus and Creative Village.

To view all lots and garages, download the campus map.  Downtown Campus Map

Parking garages for “D” (green) and “R” (orange) permits.

  • Primary: Amelia I Parking Garage (PG3)
  • Secondary: Parramore Parking Garage (PG1)

You may also park in any legal parking space downtown with a proper permit or meter/daily pass that you’ve paid for. Please park legally or your car may be towed, ticketed or wheel booted.

Do I need a special downtown parking decal?
Yes. A valid permit is required at all times to park on and around campus property. Students with a Downtown Campus parking decal may park in eligible parking garages, such as the Parramore Parking Garage or Amelia I Parking Garage. Metered parking and/or surface parking may be available, but posted parking rates will need to be paid even with a valid Downtown Campus decal if on public property.

Is parking free?
Parking is not free downtown. Students, faculty and staff will need a valid Downtown Campus to park in Downtown Campus garages. Permits can be ordered online at UCF Parking Services. Violations may be subject to a fine. Valencia College faculty and staff need to see their supervisor to obtain a parking permit.

Where do I get a parking decal?
Please visit, UCF Parking Services.

Is there any free parking nearby if we take a bus to campus?
Free parking may be available, but there are very few areas offering this service. Free LYNX services are available downtown.

Seek any available legal parking.

Who do I call if I have car issues? What services are offered?
Having car troubles? Parking and Transportation offers vehicle assistance at both the Creative Village and Main Campus. This includes battery jumps, door openings, lost vehicle escorts and tire inflations. Contact UCF Police Department, 407-823-5555.

For large special events, contact the Executive Dean’s Office for approval.
