A resource for food and services.

In times of need, Valencia College students can turn to VCentials. A free source of food and essential items such as toiletries, VCentials is made possible through the generosity of the Florida Blue Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, Universal Orlando Foundation, Walt Disney World, Dr. Phillips Charities, Valencia College Foundation, Student Development and members of the Valencia College community. After a one-time registration, our staff will require your VID for VCentials check in and check out.

Register

Using your mobile device or computer, visit: VCentials Registration

Log-in via your Valencia College credentials and register one-time for a Pantry Soft account.

 

Access 

Visit the campus location convenient to you to shop in-person. Please review the posted item limits.

VCentials is available from the first day of the semester to the last day of classes from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, when Valencia College classes are in session. Hours and operating days are subject to change without advanced notice.

What type of items are available?
The West and Osceola Campus sites stock fruits, vegetables, bread, frozen and fridge items, ready to eat meals, protein, drinks, snacks, and hygiene products.

All other campus sites operate via the Student Development office and carry canned items, hygiene products, along with a small selection of snacks.

Where can I find an accessible pantry?

Where does the food come from?
Most of the food will come from our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida although we will be happy to accept community donations.

Do I need to track how many items I take?
You may visit one time per day and select up to 5 items. Please review the category limits posted.

Can I donate items to the food pantry?
Stop by and we will be happy to accept unopened food and hygiene items for our Valencia College community. Donations may also be dropped off at one of our donation bins at your nearest campus. We are unable to accept opened food items or clothing.

What type of items can be donated? What can’t be donated?

We are happy to accept in date, carton sealed food donations and toiletries at VCentials. We are unable to accept clothing type items but encourage you to donate these to Goodwill as well as homeless and women’s shelters.

How can I support the food pantry?
Ways to support include: food donations, employee/community donations, monetary donations to the Foundation and volunteering.

Do people have to make an appointment to drop items off?
No appointment will be required to drop off donations while VCentials open. You may also drop off donations at any donation bin on your nearest campus. We appreciate your generosity.

CCAMPIS

Child Care Assistance to Help Parents Graduate Faster

The grant-funded Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) program at Valencia College offers financial assistance to eligible student-parents in need of child care services during their pursuit of a degree. The program aims to help participants remain in school and graduate with their degree faster.

Valencia College CCAMPIS (P335A220067) is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education through a $1,364,928 award. The Department of Education funds support 100% of the total costs of the program, and $153,619 is contributed through leveraged funds by non-governmental sources.
