Application Information
We are now accepting applications for Fall 2026 admission to the Seneff Honors College.
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- 3.25 or higher overall GPA
- Enough courses still available in the degree program to earn an honors distinction by graduation
- Plan on earning an AA degree from Valencia College
- Submit a completed honors application, including all supplemental materials, by the below deadlines.
The Fall 2026 Honors Admission Deadlines are as follows:
- Application deadline – May 15
- Supplemental materials deadline – May 22
Admissions decisions will be sent to all applicants in late June.
1 Apply to Valencia College. Once admitted, set up your MyVC Account.
2 Apply to the Seneff Honors College. The ““Seneff Honors College Application” is located in your MyVC Account. The easiest way to find it is to search "honors" after logging into MyVC.
3 Submit an Honors Recommendation Form. The Seneff Honors College requires submission of one academic recommendation form as part of the application for admission. The Honors Recommendation Form and instructions on how to complete it are included in the “Seneff Honors College Application” in MyVC.
Important: We do not accept personal recommendations or recommendations in other formats. Your recommender must complete our recommendation form.
4 Submit supporting academic documents as requested. The Seneff Honors College will reach out to applicants through Valencia email to request supporting documents as appropriate to each applicant in order to verify the academic information shared on the honors admission application. Commonly requested supporting documents include unofficial academic transcripts, unofficial copies of placement test score reports, or unofficial copies of credit-by-exam transcripts (ex. Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education, etc.).
Decision Notifications
Admissions decisions will be sent to all applicants in late June.
Incomplete Applications
The honors application is not considered complete until all required components (application form, recommendation form, and supporting academic documents) are received. Applications that are still incomplete by the supplemental materials deadline are not reviewed for admission consideration.
