Who is my assigned Student Success Coach?

You can find your Student Success Coach contact information in your Student Profile within your student portal account on the main dashboard in the Student Profile widget.

If Student Services is listed as your assigned coach, you are welcome to visit your nearest Advising Center on campus or virtually during our office hours Monday-Friday. Visit the Advising Center website for locations and hours.

How do I register for the Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE)?

To register to take the Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE) visit the Testing and Assessment website in the FCLE On-Campus Testing section to schedule an appointment.

How do I apply for grade forgiveness?

You are not required to apply for grade forgiveness. Valencia automatically offers grade forgiveness for courses that you have not already earned an A, B, or C or already had 3 attempts in the same course.

To receive grade forgiveness, you must retake the same exact course and earn a higher grade. Only the higher grade will be counted into your GPA, but all attempts will still be visible on your transcripts. For additional guidance, connect with one of our Student Success Coaches.

How do I request transcripts?

To request your official Valencia College transcripts, visit the transcripts page on the Valencia website for steps.

How can I see my placement score results (e.g. PERT, LOEP)?

You can view your test scores via your student portal account. Go to your Student Profile and click on Prior Education and Testing in the menu options on the left-hand side to view your scores. To view applicable class placement, visit the Testing and Assessment website.

You can view the tuition and fee schedule by visiting the Business Office website.

What Associate in Arts (A.A.) programs does Valencia offer?

Valencia only offers one associate in arts (A.A.) degree in general studies. However, we developed degree pathways to help guide you in your course selection based on your intended major upon transfer into a bachelor’s program. To view the options, you can visit the degree pathway website.

Where can I find help when I cannot access registration due to technical issues (e.g. Authentication)?

For technical assistance, contact the Student Help Desk at 407-582-5444.

How do I get help with registering when my academic standing prevents me from registering?

  • MyVC Search Bar: Type “Warning,” “Probation,” or “Suspension” in the search bar at the top of MyVC. The assigned page should appear at or near the top of the search results.

MyVC Left-Side Navigation Menu:

  • Select All Pages (click on the arrow or 3 dots to view)
  • Navigate to Academic Recovery
  • Choose the relevant page: Academic Warning, Academic Probation, or Academic Suspension

How can I view the remaining requirements needed to complete my program of study?

In your student portal account, there are two ways to view your academic progress in your program: Degree Audit and My Education Plan (MEP). You can access these tools by going to your Student Profile and choosing one of these options from the menu on the left.

How do I dispute a final course grade?

You can dispute a final grade in a course by completing the Final Grades Dispute form. Please note this must be done within 60 days of the final course grade being posted.

How do I obtain a signed degree audit to complete a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) appeal for financial aid?

You will need to meet with a Student Success Coach who will provide a signed degree audit for you to submit with your appeal. Visit the Advising Services website on ways to connect with a coach.

How can I change my degree and/or major?
